Xiaomi's update schedule for the Redmi Note series is in something of a mess at this point. The company released the Redmi Note 9 series back in April last year and one would expect the Redmi Note 10 to have been launched at the end of the year. Instead, Xiaomi released phones like the Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. It appears, however, that a Redmi Note 10 is on the way.
For the first time, a device in the Redmi Note 10 series has now surfaced online. According to popular leakster Sudhanshu, the device in question is the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. The page, an FCC listing, shows that the phone—with model number "M2101K6G"—will offer dual-band WiFi and 5G support. It will also run MIUI 12 at launch, which could mean that release is nearer than one would expect, as MIUI 12.5 is already rolling out in beta form to some devices.
There's not much else available about the phone right now. We wouldn't be surprised if the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G was powered by something like the Snapdragon 768G, for example, or some unreleased MediaTek Dimensity silicon.
Can confirm that, this is the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G!https://t.co/TO76Hw1HkS
