Xiaomi MIX 5 appears on Geekbench with flagship specifications
The Xiaomi 2203121C has appeared again, having originally leaked in October. Believed to be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or MIX 5, recent Geekbench listings suggest that the Xiaomi 2203121C could actually be the latter. Predictably, the MIX 5 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which Geekbench reports as having a 3 GHz prime core, three cores running at 2.5 GHz and another four clocked at 1.79 GHz.
For reference, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 also utilises the Adreno 730, a GPU that should deliver 30% better graphics performance than the Adreno 660 in the Snapdragon 888. According to Geekbench, Xiaomi has paired the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 12 GB of RAM, the highest RAM configuration in which Xiaomi offers the MIX 4. Incidentally, Xiaomi sells the MIX 4 with 256 GB and 512 GB of storage, too. In comparison, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is only available with up to 256 GB of storage.

While Geekbench listings are simple to fake, these three contain results that are in line with what we would expect from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Specifically, the MIX 5 scored between 1,256 and 1,264 points in Geekbench 5.4.3 single-core, putting it slightly ahead of our median database score. Conversely, the MIX 5 is a little down on the median of multi-core results, although it can still outscore the 3,488 points managed by the Find X5 Pro.
Currently, Xiaomi has not started teasing a MIX 5 or 12 Ultra on any of its social media accounts. The company is rumoured to launch a new flagship next month though, according to Digital Chat Station.
