Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro: Leaker naysays new renders and hypes up the Mix Fold 2 for a 2.5K display
Yesterday, new renders of the upcoming Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro surfaced in the wild. While those renders may have been scintillating, it appears they weren't quite accurate—if Digital Chat Station's word is anything to go by, at least.
According to the leaker, the revealed renders of the Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro don't represent how the phone's cameras will actually line up. It's important to point out that the renders' source never actually claims that the images are an accurate depiction of the phone; they're just based on leaked phone cases and a dummy.
Supposedly, the Xiaomi Mix 5 Pro will have just three rear cameras, not four as shown. The main 50 MP camera will be at the left of the module, the periscope lens at the module, and the ultra-wide-angle shooter right at the middle. It does appear that the flagship will mostly retain the overall design shown in the renders, however.
In addition, Digital Chat Station has also reported the existence of two Xiaomi flagship phones with premium displays. Both will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. One will sport a 6.7-inch 2K 120 Hz LTPO display, while the other will feature an 8-inch 2.5K LTPO display. The first is likely the Mix 5 Pro, as leaks already indicate it will sport a 6.73-inch WQHD+ display. The second one is probably the Mix Fold 2—the first-gen Mix Fold also featured an 8-inch display.
