Realme subsidiary DIZO has announced that it is on the verge of announcing the Watch D, a huge smartwatch by modern standards. Billed as 'Time To Go Big', the DIZO Watch D has a 1.8-inch display, making it much bigger than competitors like the Huawei Watch FIT 2.
Additionally, the DIZO Watch D promises to have a 15% larger display than its predecessor. However, Realme's smartwatch bears no relation to the Huawei Watch D, which focuses on health tracking like blood pressure monitoring. Instead, Realme has leaned heavily on the DIZO Watch D's display capabilities, such as its 550-nit peak brightness.
Moreover, the DIZO Watch D's display has a curved finish that recesses into its rounded body. In short, the DIZO Watch D resembles a much larger Apple Watch. So far, Realme has also teased that the DIZO Watch D comes with over 150 pre-installed watch faces, is 5 ATM water-resistant and has a single large button where a digital crown would be on an Apple Watch. DIZO will reveal the Watch D on June 7 at 12:00 IST (06:30 UTC). Currently, it is unclear whether Realme plans to launch the DIZO Watch D in other markets.
