Huawei has introduced the Watch FIT 2, a successor to the original Watch FIT and a fitness tracker that Huawei will sell alongside the existing Watch FIT mini. As expected, the Watch FIT 2 has a 1.74-inch AMOLED display that has a 336 PPI pixel density with a 336 x 480 pixel-native resolution. Incidentally, the display also offers a 72.2% screen-to-body ratio.
At launch, Huawei will offer the Watch FIT 2 in Active, Classic and Elegant editions, which will come in the following colourways:
- Watch FIT 2 Active Edition: Sakura Pink, Isle Blue, Midnight Black
- Watch FIT 2 Classic Edition: Nebula Grey, Moon White
- Watch FIT 2 Elegant Edition: Silver Frost, Premium Gold
For reference, Huawei will provide silicone, leather and milanese watch straps, all of which are replaceable. Elsewhere, the Watch FIT 2 has a built-in speaker, a microphone and 97 exercise modes, plus Huawei's Fitness Coach functionality. As with Huawei's other wearables, the Watch FIT 2 features GPS and can track core health metrics, such as your heart rate and blood oxygen saturation levels.
The Watch FIT 2 will be available from June 1 in Europe or May 18 if you pre-order it from Huawei's online store. At launch, the Watch FIT 2 Active Edition will cost €149.99, €30 cheaper than the Watch FIT 2 Classic Edition at €179.99. Finally, the Watch FIT 2 Elegant Edition will retail for €229.99.
