Huawei Band 7: European pricing and availability leaks for budget fitness tracker
Roland Quandt and WinFuture have leaked details about the Huawei Band 7, one of several wearables that the company is expected to reveal soon in Europe. While Huawei has already showcased the Band 7 in China, Quandt and WinFuture have revealed the fitness tracker's European availability and pricing. Unsurprisingly, Huawei has made no hardware changes between Chinese and European variants.
According to Quandt and WinFuture, Huawei will offer the Band 7 in multiple colourways. However, it is unclear whether Huawei will bring all four colour options to Europe. Currently, Quandt and WinFuture have only provided marketing renders of the Band 7 in black. Purportedly, Huawei will launch the Band 7 in Europe for €59, matching its predecessor. For reference, the Band 6 has now dropped below €40; it remains to be seen whether Huawei will discontinue the Band 6 after it begins selling the Band 7, though.
Supposedly, the Band 7 will become available in Europe 'within the next few weeks'. Potentially, Huawei could unveil the Band 7 at this week's product launch event, scheduled for May 18. The company bills the event as one where it will unveil flagship products though, so it could save the Band 7's European reveal for another time.
