The official announcement of Huawei's upcoming Mate Xs 2 product event has led to speculation that the long-awaited Pro version of this OEM's Watch GT 3 will also make an entrance during this show. The allegedly upcoming smartwatch is now tipped to do so in at least 2 sizes and case material options, one of which may be titanium.

RumorHuawei has just confirmed that it will hold a new major product launch soon. The Mate Xs 2 may be the headliner of this event; however, the OEM has also strongly hinted that it will be joined by a variety of devices from elsewhere in its ecosystem

This range of hardware is now believed to include the Watch GT 3 Pro - or "WhatGT3pro", according to a probable typo on the part of a Weibo-based leaker whose username apparently translates as "The Factory Manager was my Classmate".

The apparently connected tipster now asserts that the second-gen GT Pro will be unveiled as a choice of "male and female" variants, with a choice of either 42 or 46mm sizes. The former will be available in at least 1 SKU finished in white that is also made of ceramic, whereas the latter will have titanium alloy in its build.

Should the smartwatch truly launch on April 28, 2022, it will presumably do so with HarmonyOS out of the box. It is also now said to do so alongside a successor to the Band 6 fitness tracker, although there is no concrete word on what else might join the putative wearables on this date.
