Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro: Images of upcoming smartwatch emerge in multiple styles
It seems that Huawei is preparing to release a new version of the Watch GT 3, not to be confused with the Watch 3 or Watch 3 Pro. Released alongside the Watch FIT mini, the Watch GT 3 comes in two sizes and six styles, all with AMOLED panels. Now, the Watch GT 3 Pro has leaked in a hands-on photo and what appears to be an official marketing render.
Predictably, Huawei has pre-installed HarmonyOS, its latest in-house operating system. For reference, Huawei currently distributes HarmonyOS 2; HarmonyOS 3 is not due to begin shipping until later this year. So far, Huawei has only introduced a HarmonyOS 3.0.0 Developer Preview, which you can read more about on the company's dedicated website.
Incidentally, the images show the Watch GT 3 Pro in two designs, both with white display bezels. It remains to be seen how many styles will be available, but the two that have leaked so far indicate that Huawei will position the Watch GT 3 Pro as another premium smartwatch.
Unfortunately, neither image details how the Watch GT 3 Pro will differ from the non-Pro model. If the Watch GT 2 Pro is anything to go by, the Watch GT 3 Pro will feature more health tracking features than the Watch GT 3 and will arrive in new colourways. Reputedly, Huawei will release the Watch GT 3 Pro later this month.
