Realme's GT Neo5/GT3 may have stood out on the Android smartphone market due to its design as much as its unique selling point of 240W charging. The OEM took its (relatively standard) dual-ring camera hump and surrounded it with a whole window, with space for custom transparent accents and Halo LED lighting on top of that. Now, the brand is said to keep that design language alive in the next GT Neo-series device, albeit with a slightly different direction this time.
To that end, the off-center camera circles are still there in new OnLeaks x MySmartPrice "GT Neo6" renders - although their glass surround has apparently dropped the LEDs to become more of a visor in this generation. Accordingly, it may echo other similar leaks for the Pixel 8, not to mention the Xiaomi 14 Pro, thereby suggesting Realme is ahead of the 2024 mobile device design curve already.
Then again, the GT Neo6 (or, just maybe, GT3 Pro for the international market) is projected to launch in the third quarter of 2023 (3Q2023) - which, as it is thought to do so with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, may be just as well. It may also get the same 144Hz display as the GT3 - although its charging speed is also thought to drop from the ground-breaking 240W spec to 100W SuperVOOC in this potentially upcoming smartphone.
