Reliable leaker Evan Blass has shared various images of the Nothing Phone (2). Apparently, these are official promotional images of Nothing's next smartphone, which it will launch on July 11. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Nothing will maintain its existing design aesthetic, in which it promotes the Phone (2) as more of a stylish accessory than its capabilities as a smartphone.
Additionally, the leaked photos emphasise that this year's black model is a touch lighter than last year's. Moreover, other device photos confirm that Nothing has repositioned the antenna strips between the Phone (1) and Phone (2), which can prove weak points in some smartphones. The same photos also show Nothing OS 2.0, the company's latest Android skin. While it has been assumed that Nothing has based version two of its OS on Android 14, the Phone (2) will arrive before Google ships stable Android 14 builds.
Overall, the Phone (2) looks very similar to the Phone (1), with a few design tweaks like a refined Glyph interface and a slightly rounded back panel. The Phone (2) still has comparatively thick bezels though, but its Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset should yield a healthy performance jump over the Phone (1).
