Honor has announced that it will debut a new tablet during its upcoming major product event. The first-gen MagicPad is touted to alter perceptions in its market with a potentially distinctive 13-inch display with an "eye-protecting" IMAX tie-in on top of that. It is now officially slated to debut alongside a new eSIM-enabled smartwatch and smart TV.

Honor's next new slate is, like its predecessors, likely to run Android - yet seems to target devices such as the Surface Pro 9, iPad Pro or Asus ROG Flow Z13 with a new "13-inch" form-factor. The inaugural MagicPad is also now being pitched as its OEM's "most powerful tablet yet" with a 2.8K resolution for its potentially cinematic display.

The device will be accompanied on stage by the Honor Watch 4, a square-faced smartwatch with independent voice-call support. The OEM asserts that it will bring battery life "beyond imagination" to its category of eSIM-capable wearables: for example, a new poster seems to hint at up to 240 minutes of call time.

For those in the mood for less mobile technology, the incoming Honor Smart Screen 5 is being touted as "a new choice of flagship picture quality" that will offer a "new horizon" in terms of high-definition big-screen viewing. All 3 new products are set to launch alongside the Magic V2 on July 12, 2023.
