New Samsung 83-in Class OLED S90C 4K Smart TV launches
Samsung has unveiled the 83-in Class OLED S90C 4K Smart TV in the US. The 2023 S90C is already available in 55-in, 65-in and 75-in sizes. The model features the brand’s Neural Quantum Processor with 4K upscaling technology and support for HDR10+. The OLED TV has 8.3 million self-lit pixels for a detailed and vivid image, with a Pantone-validated color palette.
The S90C has a built-in 2.1 channel speaker system, Object Tracking Sound Lite technology and is compatible with Dolby Atmos. You can pair external speakers with Q-Symphony to optimize the audio across all outputs. For gaming, there is Motion Xcelerator Turbo+, supporting resolutions up to 4K@120Hz, FreeSync Premium and the Samsung Gaming Hub. Ports on the device include four HDMI, two USB and Ethernet. The TV runs on the Tizen Smart TV OS and can act as a SmartThings or Matter Hub.
The device comes with a SolarCell Remote, or you can control the device with voice commands. The TV has a LaserSlim bezel-less design and can be mounted almost flush to a wall. You can now buy the Samsung 83-in Class S90C OLED 4K Smart TV in the US for US$5,399.99. It is unclear whether or when the new larger model could launch in other markets such as the UK and Europe.
