New TCL C11G Pro TV with up to 1,500 nits brightness launches
TCL has launched the new C11G Pro TV in China. The company launched the C11G model in the country earlier this year. The new Pro version has a Mini LED display with up to 1,500 nits brightness and 880 backlight zones for a high contrast ratio. The older QLED TV has a maximum of 1,000 nits with 220 local dimming zones; both versions have a 4K panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The C11G Pro and C11G TVs cover 157% of the BT.709 color space, compatible with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ. Gaming features include four HDMI 2.1 ports, support for FreeSync Premium Pro, VRR and a 6ms input lag. The C11G Pro has a built-in 2.1.2 channel Onkyo sound system, while the original has 2.1 channel speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS-X technologies. Like its predecessor, the Android TV is powered by a quad-core A73 processor with 4+64GB memory.
You can now buy the 65-in, 75-in and 85-in TCL C11G Pro TV in China for 9,999 yuan (~US$1,394), 12,999 yuan (~US$1,812) and 15,999 yuan (~US$2,231), respectively. For comparison, the 65-in C11G TV costs 8,999 yuan (~US$1,255). It is unclear whether or not the company could bring these models to other markets.
