Coocaa K3 new TV unveiled with voice controls and 120Hz refresh rate
The Coocaa K3 TV is now available in China. The model is available in sizes from 50-in to 75-in. The 4K TV has a 99.5% screen-to-body ratio with a 2mm (~0.8-in) bezel. All versions have some form of image optimization tool supporting HDR and Dolby technologies. The display can produce over 1.07 billion colors, and the larger models have a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The TV runs on the Coocaa 9 OS, allowing you to stream content from various apps, wirelessly screencas from a mobile device and control the gadget with voice commands. Plus, when you are not using the TV, you can select an art screensaver to help disguise the device in your living space. For audio, the model supports surround sound and has a speech clarity enhancement feature. Ports on the TV include USB 2.0, RF, AV IN and HDMI 2.1 on the more expensive models and HDMI 2.0 on the cheaper variants. Other features include ALLM and MEMC motion smoothing technology.
While the smaller models use a Cortex-A35 quad-core processor, the wider models employ the Cortex-A55. All versions have a large 2+32GB memory. You can now buy the Coocaa K3 TV in China, with the smallest 50-in model selling for the discounted price of 1,449 yuan (~US$200); the gadget will retail for 1,899 yuan (~US$262). The range-topping 75-in model is currently available for 2,999 yuan (~US$414), with a 3,599 yuan (~US$497) RRP. It is unclear whether or when the gadget could arrive in other markets, such as the US.
