Although brands like Sony and LG are not easy prey, Samsung made it look so by achieving a 30.1% share in the global TV market last year. Since 2006, Samsung managed to sell enough TV sets to get the golden crown every time. In 2023, the brand's QLED lineup achieved an impressive 8.31 million units sold.

Samsung Electronics has recently managed to hit a new milestone, remaining at the helm of the global TV market for another year, which brings the total of such consecutive successes all the way to 18. According to the tech giant headquartered in South Korea, "This success is largely due to the company’s strategic focus on premium and large-screen TV categories, driven by its cutting-edge QLED and OLED models."

Samsung introduced its first QLED TVs in 2017. Since then, over 40 million units have been sold. During last year, Samsung managed to sell 8.31 million TVs from the QLED lineup. While a global leading spot with over 30% of the market seems quite comfortable, Samsung obliterates the competition in the premium TV market. Here, Samsung controls 60.5% of the market for the $2,500+ area, dropping to 33.9% when adding TVs over 75 inches into the equation. These figures come from market research Omdia's recent study.

During this year's CES trade show, Samsung introduced the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, a piece of silicon that opens the gates to the AI Screen Area. With the help of this chip and the Tizen OS, Samsung wants to turn the residences of its customers into modern smart homes with AI screens as the outstanding attributes of smart home innovation.

The 32-inch Samsung QLED Q60A (QN32Q60AAFXZA, 2021 Model) is one of the few Samsung QLED monitors still in stock and can be acquired for $507.63 via Amazon.
