LG launches new ProBeam projectors with up to 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness
LG has officially announced five new RG Series ProBeam projectors. The models are designed for business use in conference rooms and commercial spaces. LG suggests that its latest products provide a higher brightness level from a laser light source, more user controls, and a wider range of integrations than older projectors.
The key differences between the five new models are maximum brightness, resolution, and throw ratio. The ProBeam BU60RG and ProBeam BU50RG are 4K UHD models, with 6,000 and 5,000 ANSI lumens peak brightness levels, respectively. The ProBeam BF60RG and ProBeam BF50RG have a WUXGA resolution with the same 6,000 or 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Meanwhile, the ProBeam BU53RG, seen last year, is a 4K UHD model with up to 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness and the addition of a short throw ratio.
The projectors have multiple aspect ratios, such as 4:3, 16:10, and 21:9, with the latter suited to the Microsoft Teams Front Row features. Plus, you can perfect the image with new advanced tools for edge adjustment and fix warping across up to 25 points. Other features include built-in dual 5W speakers, support for Creston RoomView, and the webOS Signage 6.0 digital signage platform. The prices for the new LG RG Series ProBeam projectors start from $2,900; a full price list can be found below.
