The LG ProBeam BU53RG 4K short throw laser projector is now on sale in countries around the world. The gadget has been designed for businesses, with up to 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness. Other features of the new model include built-in 5W speakers, webOS 6.0 Signage and a screen-sharing tool.

LG has revealed the ProBeam BU53RG 4K short throw projector, designed for businesses. The DLP laser model has up to 5,000 ANSI lumens brightness, with the light source expected to last up to 20,000 hours. The projector delivers a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, supports HDR, and you can optimize the picture with vertical lens shift and zoom tools.

The ProBeam BU53RG has a 0.84-1.14:1 throw ratio that allows you to project images from 40 to 300-in (~102 to 762 cm) wide at distances between 3 and 25 ft (~0.9 and 7.6 m). The new model includes webOS 6.0 Signage with embedded CMS and a Synced Video Wall Playback feature. Plus, the gadget supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing screen sharing from a smartphone or tablet.

Other features of the LG projector include two built-in 5W speakers, a running noise of around 29 dB and ports including HDMI, USB, RS232, Ethernet and a 3.5mm audio jack. The gadget measures 14.5 x 11.4 x 6.1-in (~36.8 x 29.0 x 15.5 cm) with a white plastic casing. You can now buy the LG ProBeam BU53RG 4K short throw projector for US$4,199/£4,299/€4,299.
