Formovie has announced that the Xming Page One LCD projector will launch for general sale in November. Customers can currently “pre-order” the device with a US$100 discount. Features of the 1080p model include 500 CVIA lumens brightness, integrated Boston Dynamics speakers and built-in Google TV.

The Xming Page One LCD Projector is officially launching on November 15. Formovie, the company behind Xming, ran an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the device earlier this year, raising over US$62,000. The model has a native 1080p resolution and up to 500 CVIA lumens brightness from its LED light source.

The Page One can cast images between 40 and 120-in (~102 and 305 cm) with a 1.25:1 throw ratio, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and support for HDR10. You can swiftly enhance the image with automatic keystone correction, autofocus and obstacle avoidance tools. The projector runs on Android, with the Certified Netflix app and built-in Google TV, providing Chromecast screen casting and Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, two built-in 5W speakers, developed with Boston Acoustics, are compatible with Dolby Audio.

Ports on the device include HDMI 2.1, USB 3.0 and audio out, and you can wirelessly connect gadgets via Bluetooth 5.0. The Xming Page One LCD Projector will retail for US$499. You can now pay US$1 to secure a US$100 voucher to purchase the gadget when it launches on November 15. The device will sell worldwide; it is unclear precisely how the voucher value translates to other currencies.
