MagyarXiaomi TV A Pro new larger 85-in model launches with 120Hz motion rate
The Xiaomi TV A Pro 85-in is now available in China. The 4K UHD model has a 3,840 x 2,160 px resolution and a 178° viewing angle. While the display has a native 60Hz refresh rate, Xiaomi focuses on a gaming mode, which it claims has a 120 Hz motion rate, alongside MEMC technology for a smoother moving image.
The TV A Pro uses the MIUI TV interface, allowing you to screencast from Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices. Other features include voice commands, an accompanying Bluetooth remote and two built-in 10W speakers with support for DTS. You can connect external speakers, game consoles or other gadgets via HDMI ARC, USB 3.0, S/PDIF and AV ports. A quad-core Cortex A55 CPU powers the device, with 3GB+32GB storage and connectivity via 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Xiaomi suggests the model has a high screen-to-body ratio of 96.5%. You can now buy the Xiaomi TV A Pro 85-in in China for the discounted price of 5,999 yuan (~US$820). The device will retail for 6,999 yuan (~US$957), meaning those who buy it now save 1,000 yuan (~US$137). 43-in, 55-in, 65-in and 75-in versions of the TV are already on sale in the country. Whether or when the new model could arrive in markets such as Europe remains unclear.
