New Xiaomi TV S Pro cheaper 4K Mini LED model with 144Hz refresh rate arrives
Xiaomi has launched the TV S Pro in China, now available via a pre-sale campaign. The Mini LED model is available in 65-in and 75-in sizes, with 896 and 1,152 backlight partitions, respectively. This allows the 4K TVs to produce a more detailed image with 94% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 2,200 nits brightness.
The TV S Pro has a native 144Hz refresh rate with 120Hz MEMC motion smoothing and a 240Hz Gaming Mode. You can connect a games console via an HDMI port with Xiaomi quoting 2ms lag. Gadgets such as external speakers or TV sticks can be connected via USB 3.0, AV and S/PDIF ports. Other features include Wi-Fi 6 support, a Filmmaker Mode and compatibility with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos. The new model is powered by a quad-core A73 processor with 4+64GB storage.
You can now pre-order the 65-in and 75-in versions of the Xiaomi TV S Pro in China for 4,299 yuan (~US$588) and 5,999 yuan (~US$821), respectively. A 100 yuan (~US$14) deposit is required to lock in the pre-sale price, with the models expected to retail for 4,999 yuan (~US$684) and 6,999 yuan (~US$957), respectively. It is unclear whether or not the TV could also launch in other regions.
