TCL introduces more affordable 2023 SF5 TV Series with built-in Fire TV
TCL has unveiled the 2023 SF5 TV Series, equipped with Fire TV. The new models, available in 32-in and 40-in sizes, are now on sale in Spain and arriving in the UK shortly. These Full HD 1080p TVs offer a 60Hz refresh rate alongside support for HDR10 and HLG. Plus, the gadget uses high dynamic ranging and tone mapping to enhance the image's colors, contrast and brightness.
Fire OS 7 provides access to popular streaming apps like Prime Video and Disney+, and customers in the UK get access to Freeview Play, a free-to-watch collection of TV with over 1,500 boxsets. Alternatively, you can cast content from a mobile device via Miracast or Apple AirPlay, and the Voice Remote lets you control the device with Amazon Alexa voice commands. The SF5 is a sleek model with a bezel-less design and integrated speakers, compatible with Dolby Audio and DTS-HD for an immersive audio experience.
You can now purchase the 32-in and 40-in versions of the 2023 TCL SF5 TV in Spain for €199 and €259, respectively. The UK's pricing and exact launch date are yet to be disclosed. Additionally, whether these affordable TVs will become available in other EU countries or beyond remains unclear.
