Roborock Q5 Pro and Q8 Max robot vacuum and mops launch with discount
Roborock has launched the Q5 Pro, Q5 Pro+, Q8 Max and Q8 Max+ robot vacuum and mops in countries worldwide, now available at its online store and Amazon. The Q5 Pro is currently priced at US$319.99, US$110 under the US$429.99 RRP. The Q5 Pro+ also has a launch discount, US$200 off, bringing the cost down from US$699.99 to US$499.99.
A US$150 price cut is offered on the Q8 Max, allowing you to buy the device for US$449.99 rather than US$599.99, and you can pick up the Q8 Max+ for US$599.99, saving US$220 on the US$819.99 RRP. Roborock unveiled the new Q5 Pro and Q8 Max series robot vacuums earlier this year. All models have up to 5,500 Pa suction power and a 5,200 mAh battery, making them suitable for areas between 300 and 350 m² (~3,230 and 3,767 ft²) in size.
The main difference between the Q8 Max and the Q5 Pro is the addition of Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance. The feature, previously reserved for Roborock’s higher-end model, is more effective at preventing the robot from colliding with furniture, pets or people while cleaning than older technology. The Q5 Pro+ and Q8 Max+ models add intelligent docking stations, which can automatically wash and dry the mop and empty and refill the dustbin and water tanks. It is unclear when these introductory offers on the new Roborock robot vacuums will end.
