Last year's Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 gaming laptop has seen a massive price drop on Amazon US. Its standout feature is the dual displays, with the main 16-inch IPS panel having a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and a max refresh rate of 165 Hz. The second display, dubbed the ScreenPad Plus, measures 14 inches diagonally and has touch functionality.
The GX650RM-ES74 variant features an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor boosting up to 4.7 GHz, joined by 16 GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. Asus also equipped the laptop with an Nvidia RTX 3060 Laptop GPU with 6 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a maximum TGP of 140 W (115W + 25W dynamic boost).
Connectivity consists of two 10 Gbps USB-C ports with DP Alt mode, two 10 Gbps USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5 mm audio combo jack, Gigabit Ethernet, and a barrel connector supporting 240 W charging. Other features include WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support, a 90 Wh battery, a 720p camera, and a touchpad that can double as a number pad.
On Amazon US, the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (model GX650RM-ES74) can currently be had for US$1,589.99, a 36% drop from its original MRSP of US$2,499.99.
