Amazon US will shortly launch an invite-only deal on the Fire TV 50" Omni Series 4K UHD smart TV. The offer is part of the Prime Big Deal Days event on October 10th and 11th, slashing the US$375.99 list price to US$149.99, a 60% or US$226 discount. Until the end of September, the model retailed for the higher price of US$459.99.
The 2021 Fire TV 50" Omni has a 4K display with a 60Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10 and HLG. Built-in Fire TV lets you download apps for streaming services like Disney+, Prime Video and Netflix. Plus, customers who purchase the model are eligible to receive a 6-month subscription to MGM+. Two integrated 8W speakers and Dolby Digital Plus deliver a surround sound experience, and you can wirelessly connect external speakers via Bluetooth.
Alternatively, you can use ports like HDMI eARC 2.1 and HDMI 2.0 to link other devices. Plus, you can control the device with Alexa voice commands and cast content from Apple gadgets via AirPlay. Only Prime customers can apply for an invite to the Fire TV 50" Omni Series 4K UHD smart TV deal, clicking a button on the product page to sign up. However, the company notes that, due to limited quantities, not all requests will be granted.
