The BenQ X3100i 4K HDR gaming projector has been revealed. The gadget has a 4LED light source providing up to 3,300 ANSI lumens brightness, with HDR tone mapping and SSI Dynamic Black technology for enhanced images. The device covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and can produce images up to 150-in (~381 cm) wide with a 1.15-1.5 throw ratio and 1.3X zoom.

Google TV powers the X3100i with support for Dolby Digital Plus, Chromecast and Google Assistant voice commands. You can choose from various game settings, including RPG Mode for deep bass, SPG Mode with realistic colors and voice clarity, and FPS Mode for more detailed images. Auto Game Mode detects the console input and adjusts the experience accordingly. Plus, you can perfect the picture with a 40-60% vertical lens shift. Input lag is 16.7ms with a 4K@60Hz resolution and 4.2ms for 1080p@240Hz.

BenQ’s CinematicSound technology delivers spatial audio via two 5W speakers, and the 7.1-channel sound system is compatible with Dolby Atmos. Ports on the device include HDMI 2.0b/HDCP2.2, USB-A and RS232 in (DB-9pin); it is worth noting that this model does not support Bluetooth or Wi-Fi audio transmission. The BenQ X3100i 4K HDR 4LED Flagship Console Gaming Projector will retail for US$2,399 and is expected to launch in November.
