Casiris H6 4K Projector crowdfunding campaign now live
The Casiris H6 Projector is now crowdfunding on Indiegogo. At the time of writing, the campaign has over 50 backers and has raised US$106,948, surpassing its funding goal of US$10,000. Currently, the entry level offer is the Super Early Bird pledge, which allows you to buy the gadget for US$1,899. The projector has a US$3,999 MSRP, meaning these first supporters get 52% or US$2,100 off. You can also add the Casiris 120" Aura Black Grid ALR Screen to your purchase for an additional US$700; the device retails for US$1,999, saving US$1,299.
Revealed earlier this month, the Casiris H6 has an RGB triple laser light source, delivering up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness. The 4K projector covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut with MEMC and support for HDR. You can throw images up to 150-in (~381 cm) wide with an ultra-short 0.25:1 throw ratio. The projector has an Android TV 10.0 dongle, allowing you to stream content from many popular platforms. Plus, the model has two built-in 15W speakers with DTS-HD decoding.
The company is shipping to many countries, with free delivery available for places like the US, the UK and the Netherlands. Casiris plans to dispatch the projector to customers this December, with the model already in production.
