Xiaomi Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43-in arriving soon with launch discount
Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43-in, shortly launching in India. The new 4K HDR model has a 178° viewing angle, a 60 Hz refresh rate and an auto low latency mode (ALLM). The TV has a bezel-less frame and uses the Vivid Picture Engine to deliver bright colors and high contrast.
As its name suggests, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K has the latest Fire TV, allowing you to use over 12,000 apps, including YouTube, Apple TV+ and Netflix. Alternatively, you can wirelessly screen-cast from mobile devices via Apple AirPlay 2 or Miracast. The gadget also has a smart home dashboard and a picture-in-picture mode, which could be used with a video doorbell. The TV has built-in 24W speakers supporting Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual:X.
Gadgets such as external speakers or game consoles can be connected via various ports, which include HDMI 2.1 ARC and USB 2.0. Plus, you can control the new model with an accompanying remote or Amazon Alexa voice commands. The TV uses a 64-bit quad-core Cortex A55 CPU, a Mali G52 MC1 GPU, and 2+8GB memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 43-in will launch for the discounted price of ₹24,999 (~US$300), with a ₹42,999 (~US$516) RRP. It is unclear whether or when the product could launch in other markets.
