Sony BRAVIA XR A95L QD-OLED 4K TV now available to pre-order
The 2023 Sony BRAVIA XR Class A95L QD-OLED 4K HDR Google TV is now available to pre-order. The 55-in model is priced at US$2,799.99/£2,999.00/€3,489.00, the 65-in version at US$3,499.99/£3,699.00/€4,489.00 and the 77-in TV retails for US$4,999.99/£5,999.00/€4,489.00.
The A95L was unveiled as part of the 2023 Bravia line-up earlier this year. The new model features Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR for high contrast and lifelike colors, and a QD-QLED display for an image up to three times brighter than its predecessor, the A95K. The TV supports Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Netflix Adaptive Calibrated Mode. Google TV allows you to stream content from popular apps and control the gadget with Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, you can wirelessly cast video from a mobile device using Google Chromecast and Apple AirPlay.
Sony has included features for gamers, like the Game Menu, which collates various picture settings to enhance your experience. The TV has a 4K@120Hz resolution, VRR and ALLM, and you can connect your console via an HDMI 2.1 port. The brand also suggests that there are exclusive features to optimize gaming with the PlayStation 5. Other tools include gesture controls, Multi View, which allows you to split your screen to view two sources simultaneously, alongside Acoustic Surface Audio+ and support for Dolby Atmos. The 55-in, 65-in and 77-in Sony BRAVIA XR Class A95L QD-OLED TV will ship on October 10 in the US, September 15 in the UK and September 18 in the EU.
