Formovie Xming Q3 Pro smart home projector now available
Xming has launched the Q3 Pro smart home projector in China. Xming is a Formovie brand and part of the Xiaomi ecosystem. The 1080p projector uses a PhotonX light source with up to 15,000 hours of life expectancy, generating up to 500 CVIA lumens brightness. You can use the gadget to project images up to 120-in (~305 cm) wide, with a 1.26-1.36:1 throw ratio, 2,000:1 contrast ratio and AI image enhancement.
You can perfect the Q3 Pro’s image with auto-focus, automatic obstacle avoidance and screen fit tools. Other features include MEMC motion smoothing technology, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and two built-in 5W speakers from Boston Acoustics supporting Dolby Audio. For gaming, the projector has a 10ms input lag, 120Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0 ports. Plus, you can control the gadget with voice commands or using the Xiaomi app. The projector runs on FengOS 3.0 and is powered by an Amlogic T982 CPU with 2+32GB memory.
You can now buy the Formovie Xming Q3 Pro smart home projector in China for the discounted price of 1,699 yuan (~US$234); the product is set to retail at 1,999 yuan (~US$275). It is unclear whether or when this Xming device could launch in markets like the US or the UK. However, the brand recently launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for the Page One LCD projector.
