While the leading manufacturer in the OLED TV market has already revealed its upcoming 2023 television sets a few weeks ago at CES, the Japanese tech giant Sony has yet to follow suit as the company is rumored to hold an according online event shortly. Fortunately, a new leak has already revealed the majority of the Bravia lineup including the different size options and panel technologies of each set.
In 2023, Sony will apparently only carry one traditional OLED TV in the form of the Bravia A80L, which is supposedly going to be offered in 55, 65 and 77 inches and will succeed the quite popular A80K. The higher-tier Bravia A95L will continue the QD-OLED trend and take on the Samsung S90C and S95C, but it is reasonable to assume that this television will once again be equipped with a fairly similar, if not identical panel made by the South Korean competitor.
Sony's top-of-the-line Bravia models won't sport an OLED panel and instead rely on Mini-LED technology that allows for an impressive peak HDR brightness, which was one of the strong suits of the beautiful X95K. The successing Bravia X95EK will supposedly be offered in 65, 75 and 85 inches. Sony's true 8K flagship TV of 2023, the Z9L Master Series, will apparently be available in 75 and 85 inches.
Instead of putting a lot of money into an OLED TV, most budget-minded buyers will probably set their sights on Sony's regular Bravia LCD models, which will be designated by the model numbers X80L, X85L, X90L and X95L. Please refer to the image below for further info on the rumored screen diagonals for each set. As usual, leaks like these should be taken with a grain of salt as Sony has yet to officially disclose the full details of its 2023 Bravia TV lineup.
