Lenovo Legion, which includes series such as the Legion 5 and Legion 7, is the company's well-known gaming lineup. Although the series does have fairly affordable offerings of the likes of the Legion 5 15 G6, Lenovo does not yet offer something on the lines of a HP Victus — an affordable gaming laptop that gets the basics right for less-serious gamers.
That changes now, however. Recently, the company unveiled a new lineup of gaming laptops in China under the GeekPro moniker, the first of which is the GeekPro G5000.
Lenovo is apparently positioning the GeekPro G5000 along the lines of modern game consoles but without the Legion's premium price tag with an aim to attract budget gamers.
Specifications for the GeekPro G5000 are not yet available, but one can expect it to feature the latest gen CPUs, an entry-level or midrange dGPU, and likely a high refresh rate display.
Pricing info is not known, and it is also not clear if Lenovo would be bringing the GeekPro lineup to global markets.
