Razer has started selling the 2023 edition of the Blade 15, despite introducing the Blade 16 at CES 2023 alongside the Blade 18. Size is arguably one of the Blade 16's downsides, with a 2.45 kg carry weight before including a power supply and a chassis that is 21.99 mm thick. In comparison, the Blade 15 (2023) is 16.99 mm thick and weighs 2.01 kg.
Understandably, the new 15-inch model is not as powerful as it's 16-inch sibling. For example, Razer offers the Blade 16 with an Intel Core i9-13950HX and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with a 175 W TGP. By contrast, the Blade 15 (2023) will be available with the Core i7-13800H and up to the 140 W variant of the RTX 4070. Alternatively, Razer sells an RTX 4060 configuration with a 110 W TGP.
Moreover, the Blade 15 (2023) will come with 16 GB DDR5-5200 RAM, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and a 15.6-inch IPS display that outputs at 1440p in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 240 Hz refresh rate. The panel will also fully cover the DCI-P3 colour space and is likely to peak at around 300 nits. The Blade 15 (2023) is already orderable in the US and other markets, with two configurations offered at launch. Initially, the Blade 15 (2023) comes in the following configurations:
- Core i7-13800H/RTX 4060 - US$2,499.99
- Core i7-13800H/RTX 4070 - US$2,799.99
