Besides the updated processors and dGPUs, XMG also includes redesigned cooling solutions with more heat pipes and quieter fans, support for up to DDR5-5600 RAM modules and 240 Hz screens. The PRO lineup features slimmer chassis and more ports, while the FOCUS models remain more budget-oriented, yet offer similar performance to the PRO variants.

With the Nvidia mid-range RTX 4000 mobile GPUs now available, XMG is updating its PRO and FOCUS laptop lineups with Intel Raptor Lake-HX processors and up to an RTX 4070 dGPU. The E23 PRO workstation models come in 15 / 17-inch form-factors and are slightly thinner with a more robust port selection, while the E23 FOCUS series offers more affordable price points together with an additional 16-inch form factor.

All of the 2023 PRO and FOCUS laptops are powered by the Intel Core i9-13900HX processor featuring 24 cores and 32 threads. As far as dGPUs go, the RTX 4050 option is only available for the FOCUS models, while the RTX 4060 and 4070 SKUs with max TGP 140 W are available for both series. XMG specifies that the maximum TGP can only be achieved in synthetic stress tests like FurMark. Users can now opt to equip the PRO and FOCUS laptops with up to DDR5-5600 RAM SO-DIMMS and the storage side is covered via two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots.

The 15-inch and 17-inch models from both lineups come standard with 1440p 16:9 IPS screens that offer 240 Hz refresh rate and 99% sRGB and DCI-P3 color gamuts. Since the FOCUS lineup is more budget-oriented, its 15.6-inch model can also be equipped with a 1080p 165 Hz  95% sRGB IPS screen. On the other hand, the PRO 17 has a 4K option with 144 Hz refresh rate and 400 nit brightness. As for the 16-inch FOCUS model, it is the only one to feature a 16:10 2560 x 1600 IPS with 95% sRGB and 400 nit maximum brightness.

The cooling solutions have been updated on both lineups, as well. It now includes five 6 mm heat pipes and one 8 mm heat pipe plus a more powerful fan with low-frequency sound for reduced noise in full load. The PRO 15 and PRO 17 chassis both have 24.9 mm profiles and weigh 2.4 kg and 2.8 kg, respectively. The FOCUS 15 comes with a 27.1 mm profile and a weight of 2.4 kg, while the FOCUS 16 is 27.5 mm thick and weighs 2.6 kg. As the heaviest and thickest model of the lot, the FOCUS 17 has a 28.2 mm profile and weighs 2.9 kg.

Port selection on the PRO lineup supports up to 4K external monitors via HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C 3.2 Gen2 and Thunderbolt 4 (also supports power delivery). Other connectors include: two USB A 3.2 Gen1 ports, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet jack, mic and headphone jacks, plus Wi-Fi 6E and BT connectivity. The FOCUS connectors include USB-C 3.2 Gen2, USB-A 3.2 Gen1, USB-A 2.0 and a Thunderbolt 4 port, as well as HDMI 2.1 + DP 1.4 video outs, mic and headphone jacks, GbE jack + Wi-Fi 6E + BT and a microSD card reader.
