Deal | LG Gram 15 (2022) reduced by over US$500 in new deal with 26% savings

Amazon US has discounted the Gram 15 15Z90Q, an Intel Alder Lake-based laptop with a 16:9 display. For reference, LG will soon replace the Gram 15 15Z90Q or Gram 15 (2022) with a 2023 model. The company announced new 14-inch, 15-inch, 16-inch and 17-inch models during CES 2023, which we covered at the time. However, LG has only brought the Gram 17 (2023) to market so far.

Regardless, the Gram 15 (2022) has a 1080p and 60 Hz display, LPDDR5 RAM, an 80 Wh battery and PCIe 4.0 storage. The Gram 15 (2022) performed well in our reviews, as is often the case with LG Gram laptops. We disliked the soldered RAM and difficult maintenance options though, as well as the performance fluctuations and lack of chassis rigidity that we observed. Currently, Amazon US is offering two SKUs at different discounts. While both feature a Core i7-1260P processor and a 1 TB SSD, one has 16 GB of RAM and is finished in black, while the other has 32 GB of RAM and comes in grey. At the time of writing, Amazon US has applied a greater discount to the more expensive model, with a 26% saving reducing it from US$1,899.99 to US$1,396.99. Alternatively, the 16 GB of RAM and black SKU costs US$1,135.96, a 24% reduction from its US$1,499.99 list price. In other words, the 26% discount equates to a US$503 saving, whereas the 24% reduction results in a US$364.03 discount.
