Deal | Take up to 20% off ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2022) in gaming laptop discounts

Amazon US has included two ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 configurations in its latest round of deals. Announced last year, the gaming laptop features two displays, 45 W APUs, DDR5 RAM and powerful GPU options. Unsurprisingly, ASUS equips the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2022) with a beefy battery. While its 90 Wh battery cannot match something like a MacBook Pro 16, it allows the ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 (2022) to outlast many of its gaming laptop peers.

At the time of writing, Amazon US has discounted two SKUs, GX650RM-ES74 and GX650RW-XS96. Despite having similar names, the latter has a US$1,000 higher list price than the former. Amazon US' sales narrow the gap, but US$900 still separates the pair. According to our database, the extra US$900 nets 22% better GPU performance. However, little separates the Ryzen 7 6800H and Ryzen 9 6900HX. The more expensive configuration also features twice the RAM, which could be beneficial in some tasks, albeit not necessarily gaming. 

Currently, Amazon US has taken 20% off the GX650RM-ES74, dropping it from US$2,499.99 to US$1,999.99. In comparison, the GX650RW-XS96 is now US$2,899.99, down from US$3,499.99. In other words, the GX650RW-XS96 has received a greater absolute discount of US$600, with Amazon US reducing the GX650RM-ES74 by US$500.
