The ZEBRONICS ZEB-PIXAPLAY 18 Projector has been launched in India. The new LED device follows in the footsteps of the ZEB-PixaPlay 17 projector, released last year. The gadget has an LED light source with up to 3,800 lumens brightness, expected to last up to 30,000 hours.
You can use the projector to throw images from 124 to 508 cm (~50 to 200-in) wide; the smaller image size requires a projection distance of 1.5 m (~4.9 ft). The ZEB-PIXAPLAY 18 has a 1080p native resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and e-focus. The device runs on Android 9.0, with dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth. Plus, the ZEBRONICS projector has a built-in speaker, compatible with Dolby Audio, or you can connect an external speaker via a 3.5 mm audio jack; other ports include HDMI and USB.
The ceiling mountable gadget measures 15 x 16.3 x 23.2 cm (~5.9 x 6.4 x 9.1-in) and weighs 1.8 kg (~4.0 ~lbs). You can now buy the ZEBRONICS ZEB-PIXAPLAY 18 Projector at Flipkart for the reduced price of ₹21,999 (~US$265); the gadget is expected to retail for ₹42,999 (~US$519) in the future. It is unclear whether or when the device could launch in other markets.
