Proscenic P12 vacuum cleaner launches as Dyson V15 Detect competitor
The Proscenic P12 cordless vacuum cleaner is now available. The device has up to 33,000 Pa suction power thanks to a 400 W brushless motor. Vertect Headlight technology shines a green light on your floor to make it easier to spot dirt; a similar feature is available on the high-end Dyson V15 Detect, which retails for around US$725. By comparison, the new P12 retails for US$199.98.
Proscenic claims it is the best-value cordless vacuum cleaner with this level of performance. An anti-tangle roller brush makes it easier to pick up hair, with a 180° swivel head to simplify steering. Five-stage filtration also helps trap up to 99.99% of the dust. You can empty the 1.2 L onboard bin at the push of a button and adjust the length of the vacuum tube to suit your needs.
The 2,500 mAh battery allows the vacuum to run for up to 60 minutes on a single charge. However, it is worth noting that when used in max mode, the device lasts only 13 minutes. Other settings are available, such as quiet mode, and an integrated display shows information such as your mode and remaining battery. The Proscenic P12 vacuum cleaner is now on sale in the US and in European countries such as France, Spain and Italy, where it costs €199. The device will also shortly launch in Canada, with the price yet to be announced.
