Long awaited Philips Hue Go portable table lamp now available
The Philips Hue Go portable table lamp is now available in Europe. The product was announced last year, with the European launch date delayed due to a hold-up in the certification process. The lamp has us to 370 lumens brightness, with the ability to cast white or colored light. You can customize the lighting using the Hue app on your smartphone or tablet.
Dimming and dynamic lighting effects, such as Cosy Candle for a soft glow, are also available via the app. Alternatively, you can control the Go portable table lamp using Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri voice commands. The device is compatible with Bluetooth and supports the Hue Bridge, allowing smart accessories to be connected to the lamp, such as the Philips Hue dimmer switch. The light can last up to 48 hours on a single charge and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Philips suggests that the device will last around ten years with A+ low energy consumption.
The lamp, which is 35 cm (~13.8-in) tall, is available with a black base and a dark gray or orange grip or a white base with a sage green or teal grip. You can buy the Philips Hue Go portable table lamp in the UK for £139.99 and in the EU for €159.99. The product launched last year in the US, retailing for US$159.99.
