TP Vision has revealed its 2023 OLED TV range. All of the new models are powered by the company’s more powerful seventh-generation P5 AI processor with V2 Ambient Intelligence for real-time lighting colour and brightness adjustment. The latest technology also uses a new XYZ light sensor to measure color temperature for a closer match to the light in the room.
The flagship new model, the Philips OLED+908, will launch this autumn in 55-in, 65-in and 77-in variants. The device features the latest META OLED panel, delivering up to 2,100 nits brightness, a 70% increase compared to older models. The gadget also has a built-in 80 W integrated 3.1 channel Bowers & Wilkins sound system with six front-mounted drivers. The Philips OLED808 uses OLED_EX panels and is available in five sizes, including a new 42-in model. These TVs have a peak brightness of 1,000 bits and a 70 W 2.1 channel audio system.
The OLED808 is due to arrive before the OLED+908, debuting this summer. Upgrades across the new models include Google TV OS replacing Android TV, which TP Vision suggests provides a more intuitive user interface. You can also use Dolby Vision 4K 120 Hz to optimize your gaming experience. Other gaming features include compatibility with HDMI 2.1 eARC, FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC, and ALLM. The pricing of the 2023 Philips OLED TVs and their exact launch dates are yet to be provided.
