Huawei Watch GT Cyber unusual smartwatch global launch begins
The Huawei Watch GT Cyber has started its global rollout. Following the wearables release in China last year, you can now purchase the gadget and its accessories in Mexico. The device has an unusual feature that allows you to swap out the strap and the watch casing.
The Watch GT Cyber has a 1.32-in AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466 px resolution. Huawei suggests that the device has military-grade durability, tested to ensure it can withstand changes in pressure, temperature and solar radiation. You can use the device to log your exercise with over 100 sports modes on offer, and built-in GPS lets you accurately track your route. You can also measure your health with heart rate and SpO2 sensors or monitor your sleep quality and stress levels. Other features include music playback, Bluetooth calling and a voice assistant.
You can preorder the Huawei Watch GT Cyber in Mexico for the discounted price of MEX$3,699 (US$196), with a MEX$100 (~US$5) deposit. The price will increase to MEX$3,999 (~US$212) when the presale ends on February 13. The new Huawei wearable has up to seven days of battery life and is available in black and gray. The accompanying watch case/strap is also available to purchase in Mexico, offered in black, grey, yellow and gold.
