Redmi Smart Band 2 has just arrived in Europe with 14% off
The Redmi Smart Band 2 is now available to buy in Europe. Customers in the Netherlands, France, and Spain can currently purchase the wearable from the Xiaomi store for the discounted price of €29.99 (~US$33); the watch will retail for €34.99 (~US$38) in the future. The deal will end in Spain on February 3, but it is unclear how long the offer will last in the other countries.
In France, you can also buy the device via Amazon, though at a higher price of €39.99 (~US$44). The Smart Band 2 is selling with an introductory price cut at the Xiaomi store in the UK, where you can buy the gadget for £29.99 (~US$37) rather than £34.99 (~US$43). Plus, the watch has launched in Italy for €34.99; however, no deal is offered here at present.
The new Redmi wearable was launched in Japan earlier this week and in China late last year. The gadget has a 1.47-in (~37 mm) display, and its body is only 9.99 mm (~0.39-in) thick. Features of the watch include heart rate and SpO2 monitors and over 30 workout modes. Xiaomi states that the watch can typically last up to 14 days or six days with heavier use. It is unclear whether or when the Redmi Smart Band 2 could launch in other markets, such as North America.
