Samsung reveals new Neo QLED and OLED TVs including 8K model
The Samsung 2023 Neo QLED and OLED TVs will be available to pre-order in the Republic of Korea from February 21st. Teased at CES 2023, the range includes the Neo QLED QNC95 and the OLED SC95, and is headed up by the Neo QLED 8K QNC900. This range-topping model uses the Neo Quantum Processor 8K and AI Upscaling technology. The 8K TV has an improved sound, with Q-Symphony enabling you to optimize the audio across multiple linked speakers.
Gaming features of the QLED models have also been enhanced, with a Game Bar function showing information about your game and MiniMap Sharing and Virtual Aim Point tools. The device is Zigbee, Matter and Thread compatible, so you can easily connect it to a wide range of smart home gadgets. The OLED TV uses the AI Quantum Processor 4K, with self-lit pixels, up to 144 Hz refresh rate and support for HDR 10+. Plus, the gadget includes the Samsung Gaming Hub, with FreeSync Premium Pro certification. The prices of these new models are listed below.
Samsung is offering various gifts for purchases made during the presale. For example, customers who buy the Neo QLED 8K TV will receive the Samsung The Freestyle Projector with battery. Some of the other QLED and OLED models are also eligible to receive The Freestyle Projector or a JBL gaming headset. The presale period lasts until March 8th. It is unclear when these TVs will be available in other markets.
