Roborock H1 washing machine revealed as brand broadens portfolio
Roborock has unveiled the H1 washing machine, extending its smart home product lineup. The company, known for its robot vacuum cleaners, launched the new gadget in China. Zeo-cycle low-temperature drying uses warm air circulation to remove water from the fabric. This technology enables the washer dryer to carefully dry delicate materials such as silk and wool without shrinking the clothes.
Another intelligent feature of the H1 washing machine is a built-in algorithm that automatically stops drying when the device detects dry clothes, saving energy. You can choose from 25 washing and drying modes, and the machine also has a self-cleaning function. You can select the device's settings on the touchscreen or in the accompanying app. When washing, the washer dryer can handle loads up to 12 kg (~26.5 lbs); the drying feature can handle up to 7 kg (~15.4 lbs) of clothes. The two-in-one machine is available in black or white and is 875 mm (~34.4-in) tall.
You can now preorder the Roborock H1 washing machine in China for the discounted price of 5,999 yuan (~US$874) with a 100 yuan (~US$15) deposit. When this presale period ends on March 20th, the gadget's price will increase to 7,299 yuan (~US$1,063). It is unclear whether or when Roborock could bring this new product to other markets.
