Sony has just revealed its brand-new Bravia lineup for 2023, which means that many home theater enthusiasts can finally start planning their long overdue TV upgrade. However, the tinny sound quality of the integrated speakers probably remains one of the most glaring weaknesses of modern TVs, which can be easily improved with an according Dolby Atmos soundbar like the Sony HT-A3000.
Fortunately, this exact soundbar has now been put on sale, as Amazon is once again selling the Sony HT-A3000 for US$498 including free shipping. This Dolby Atmos soundbar deal offers a considerable discount of US$200 or 29 percent in relation to the official MSRP of US$699. According to Camelcamelcamel's price history, this also is Amazon's lowest price ever for the Sony HT-A3000, which features a standalone 3.1-channel speaker setup without a dedicated subwoofer.
In terms of total power, the Sony HT-A3000 can output a respectable 250 watts. Aside from the aforementioned Dolby Atmos support, the mid-range soundbar can also play DTS:X audio tracks. Furthermore, demanding TV owners who want better surround performance or a more thumping bass can expand the Sony soundbar with the compatible rear speakers (SA-RS3S or SA-RS5) and subwoofer (SA-SW3 or SA-SW5), which have to be bought separately and currently start at US$298 on Amazon. All in all, this deal is a reasonable choice for Sony fans in particular, as some competing brands literally offer a bit more bang for the buck in this segment.
