Amazon US is running a sale on the Acer Nitro XFA253Q, a successor to one of the first 240 Hz gaming monitors. While its predecessor launched in 2019, the Nitro XFA253Q only arrived in December 2022. Accordingly, Acer continues to sell the gaming monitor at its US$219.99 list price.
A 24.5-inch IPS panel lies at the heart of the Nitro XFA253Q, which offers 1 ms response times (VRB), a 1080p native resolution, 250 nits peak brightness and 72% NTSC colour space coverage. Additionally, the monitor can output at 250 Hz over DisplayPort and 240 Hz when connected via HDMI. Moreover, the Nitro XFA253Q has one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, two HDMI 2.0 ports and a 3.5 mm jack; the monitor lacks any USB ports.
Elsewhere, the Nitro XFA253Q has an adjustable monitor, as well as 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting holes. At the time of writing, Amazon US has reduced the Nitro XFA253Q to US$159.99, a US$60 discount.
