Sony touts its new Pro BRAVIA as its most corporate crowd-pleasing display thanks to the option of a Deep Black Non-Glare Coating. That is just as well, as the BZ53L also has a Full Array Local Dimming backlight for up 780 nits of max brightness.
The BZ53L is also rated to stay on for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if necessary, and to support an easy installation with features such as a Pro Mode and B2B BRAVIA set-up via USB flash drive. It is also touted to arrive as a relatively light new screen at a packed weight of ~83.4lb (38 kilograms (kg)) lighter than that of its 100-inch predecessor the BZ40J.
Accordingly, Sony suggests that the BZ53L will be up and running in its new commercial (or educational) setting in no time. It is Chromecast- and Apple AirPlay 2-compliant, with support for apps such as Google Meet. The new Pro BRAVIA display is to be made available in 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch variants as well as its 98-inch flagship variant from June 2024.
In the meantime, the much more compact Sony KD32W830K 32-inch HD LED Google TV is currently available for $339.99 on Amazon.
