AOC releases new Calman Ready professional monitors with 4K Nano IPS panels
AOC has now delivered the Graphic Pro U3 series, which currently consists of the Q27U3CV, U27U3CV and U32U3CV. Arguably, while the U27U3CV and U32U3CV are variants of the same monitor, the Q27U3CV differs in various areas. As such, we have discussed the Q27U3CV separately.
According to AOC, the U27U3CV and U32U3CV utilise Nano IPS panels that output natively at 4K (3,840 x 2,160) with a 60 Hz refresh rate. As their names suggest, the U32U3CV is larger than the U27U3CV at 31.5-inches versus 27-inches. Additionally, the pair are VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and contain the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 2x HDMI 2.0
- 1x RJ45
- 3x USB Type-C (1x upstream, 2x downstream)
- 4x USB Type-A
For reference, the U27U3CV and U32U3CV feature KVM switches and can recharge a laptop at up to 96 W through their primary USB Type-C ports. However, they lack the DisplayPort input for monitor daisy chaining that the Q27U3CV offers. With that being said, the U27U3CV and U32U3CV are Calman Ready certified for use with software like AutoCal. Currently, a £100 price gap exists between the pair, despite there being little to separate them hardware-wise at £399.99 and £499.99, respectively. Please see AOC's website for more details.
