Gigabyte has provided more details about the AORUS MO34WQC, one of two 34-inch QD-OLED gaming monitors that it will release soon. Sporting a 175 Hz native refresh rate and a 1440p resolution, the Gigabyte AORUS MO34WQC also has a curved 1800R finish and numerous ports for connecting external devices.

Gigabyte has finally revealed more information about the AORUS MO34WQC, one of many QD-OLED monitors that it revealed at the start of the year. Showcased during CES 2024 in Las Vegas, the AORUS MO34WQC is one of two of QD-OLED monitors that Gigabyte has not launched yet, with the other being the AORUS MO34WQC2. For reference, Gigabyte has already released the AORUS FO27Q3, AORUS FO32U2 and AORUS FO32U2P at varying price points.

As for the AORUS MO34WQC, Gigabyte previously stated that it would output at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels with a 21:9 aspect ratio. While the monitor was previously thought to run at 240 Hz, it actually offers a 175 Hz native refresh rate. Thus, it appears that the AORUS MO34WQC shares the same panel as the Philips Evnia 34M2C8600 and MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED (curr. $799.99 on Amazon). Accordingly, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black and ClearMR 10000 certified, which Gigabyte complements with the following ports:

  • 1x 3.5 mm headphone jack
  • 1x 3.5 mm microphone jack
  • 1x Displayport 1.4
  • 2x HDMI 2.1
  • 2x USB 3.2 Type-A downstream ports
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A upstream port
  • 1x USB Type-C (Alternate Mode; Upstream port; Power Delivery up to 18W)

Moreover, the AORUS MO34WQC has a 1800R curvature and peaks at 250 nits when viewing SDR content or 1,000 nits if its HDR mode is activated. Unfortunately, Gigabyte has not confirmed when it will begin selling the monitor yet. However, the releases of its other new QD-OLED gaming monitors suggests that the AORUS MO34WQC will be available in the next month or so. Incidentally, Gigabyte has now fully detailed the AORUS MO34WQC2 too, which we have covered separately.
