Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P pricing announced before release of Alienware AW3225QF, MPG 321URX QD-OLED and ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM rival
Nearly a month has passed since Gigabyte listed the AORUS FO32U2P on its website alongside the AORUS FO32U2 and AORUS FO27Q3. To recap, the company unveiled the AORUS FO32U2P in January at CES 2024 alongside various other new gaming monitors. Now, Gigabyte has outlined US launch pricing, albeit through its retail partner.
Unfortunately, neither Gigabyte nor Newegg are forthcoming about a launch date. Nonetheless, the latter has confirmed that the AORUS FO32U2P will eventually be available for $1,199.99, making it only marginally more expensive than the AORUS FO32U2. Still, Gigabyte's US pricing undercuts the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, which ASUS began selling in mid-February for $1,299.
By contrast, the AORUS FO32U2P costs just as much as the Dell Alienware AW3225QF but $250 more than the MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED. In short, all four gaming monitors rely upon the same Samsung Display Gen 3 QD-OLED panel that outputs at 4K and 240 Hz. However, only the AORUS FO32U2P supports Ultra-High Bit Rate 20 (UHBR 20) connectivity for 80 Gbit/s transfer speeds (DP80) over DisplayPort 2.1.
