Gigabyte has now provided more details about the AORUS FO27Q3, one of several forthcoming gaming monitors produced by the company. To recap, the AORUS FO27Q3 debuted during CES 2024 in January. However, Gigabyte elected against providing too many specifications, other than that it would feature a 27-inch OLED panel output at 1440p and 360 Hz.
In short, Gigabyte's product page all but confirms that the same Gen 3 QD-OLED panel from Samsung Display underpins the AORUS FO27Q3 as the Dell Alienware AW2725DF and MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED. As such, the AORUS FO27Q3 provides 99% DCI-P3 colour space coverage with a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and 250 nits peak brightness when viewing SDR content. Additionally, the gaming monitor offers 10-bit colour, 0.03 ms GtG response times, and is factory calibrated.
Moreover, Gigabyte has equipped the AORUS FO27Q3 with various ports, including five USB connections. Specifically, the monitor features a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection, as well as two USB 3.2 Type-B ports, one USB Type-B and a Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and 18 W USB Power Delivery. Furthermore, the AORUS FO27Q3 integrates dedicated headphone and microphone jacks, unlike many of its contemporaries. While a release date and pricing remain unknown for now, more hardware details can be found on Gigabyte's website.
